While I love Pagan Folk and Pagan music with a medieval touch, it's always nice to find bands who combine pagan themes with more electronic sounds. Synth pop was my first love after all. Love this. Beautiful soundscape and beautiful lyrics.

about
The poetry from “Your Skin Breathes Too” is an ode to the healing journey of coming back to one’s body and remembering the true essence of the soul. It is a reflection of the beauty of recognising our symbiosis with nature and realising that we are not alone, we have never been alone and that we also come back to ourselves through each-other.
lyrics
"Your Skin Breathes Too"
you were here before
before pieces of pressed paper and memories
told you how much you were worth
before you were
taught your time was the only thing you could trade
besides your body
besides your voice
besides your breath
you stand
as it all swirls around you
you forget that your skin
also is alive and it takes on
thousands of years
of decisions and trapped
code running
around your blood
looking for a way out
so sometimes you scream
sometimes you cry
sometimes you sleep
to both forget and remember
your skin breathes too
in its own time
everything flows in and out
you forget there is a kind of fire
in your eyes
a kind that never goes out
it is refuelled by those that you love
it is lit by the trees you walk beside
the ground that stretches out in front of you
I was told the truth of who I was
the other day
by another that saw that I had forgotten
sometimes I remember
at the very core
there is a tiger there
an owl that sits on my shoulders
the warrior that moves in silence
trusting
you were here before
before pressed pieces of paper and memories
told you how much you were worth
and I see hope in your eyes
and feel the warmth of your embrace
and I remember
I remember
